Christmas eve, Adam picked the kids up to go to Papa Russ' for their Christmas. It was snowing and Austin's coat was in the other car so Grandma broke out the leather jacket. Cool Dude!
Fireman hat, sunglasses and leather coat complete the look.
Michelle and I took the kids to Independence Center on Friday to talk to Santa. We were a little concerned about having to wait in a long line but we got right in and the kids did pretty good. We do have the picture from Santa where Mikayla was looking out but she seems to be all about him in these that I took.
They both got right up on Santa's knee.
Thanks Santa. They hope you come see them for Christmas.
Jack visited with Santa also. His picture is on his page.
On Monday when Austin and Mikayla are not at Grandma's house Jack likes to get out the Thomas trains. We don't play with them when Mikayla is around in case one is launched her way. (It hasn't happened but don't need to take a chance.)
Adam and Michelle don't get an opportunity to dress up and go out by themselves so they wanted to remember the event. They clean up pretty good, don't you think?
Toys were in abundance for the birthday boy. Here are a few pictures. He was excited with the cards as much as the presents. Some of them had a audio message. How about that?
And then there was cake. My camera battery went out before I could capture the eating. Jack's friend Amber made him this cake. Quite impressive isn't it
Jack lost his breakfast one day and so he got to wear his PJ's part of the day till I could get his clothes washed. Apparently he was comfortable because he didn't want to put his regular clothes back on when they were done.
On Monday Jack is the only one here so he gets to do some different things with Grandma. I don't think he knew there were so many colors.
This is one of Jack's new birthday outfits. Quite stunning don't you think?
