Birthday Time for Grandma

Jose Peppers was our destination to celebrate
grandma's birthday this year.  The grandkids
gathered around for a picture.

Wait!  Beckett isn't here yet...

Ok, he is trying to make his way in...

Ta da!  By the time he got close Weston had
grandma by the neck and was holding on.  Silly crew!
Little Tucker was on the other side of the table and
we missed getting him in the picture.
Love those kiddos!

Austin is sneaking another cookie.
Think he will pay for it when he gets home
and deals with dad.  (He was told no more)

Surprised Weston and grabbed his cookie.
He didn't see that coming.
Thanks for sharing you time to make this
the BEST one yet!

Yellow Chair Update

What a handsome young man he is turning
out to be!
6 months (10-6-15)

Soccer Begins 2016

Today was Weston's first soccer game of the season.
This year they are playing 7 players and have a goalie.

He seemed to be very much "in" the game today.

Second half he was the keeper goalie.
He didn't see much action at his goal but
he was ready should they come his way.

Looks to be a good season.

Extreme Gymnastics Anyone?

Today we ventured out to Extreme Gymnastics.
This is kinda weird the way Tucker's eyes are
looking thru the netting.  Almost like he has glasses on!
I tried to catch him in action but got a lot of blurs.

He couldn't quite get the idea to jump on
the trampoline...

Oh, yeah, wait a minute "I got this"

The slide was a favorite.

He helped himself out of the foam pit like a pro!

Yeah, got this too.

Nothing seemed to stop his wonder.
He ran, jumped and played to his hearts content.
This will have to be a return event.

Outside Time

Since it has cooled off a bit we have been taking
rides.  Notice his collection in the trunk.

One happy little man.

A visit to Bob's pig.  All the kids had to
visit him and I've named him Peter Pig.

Nothing like hide-n-seek by the electric box or
pounding rocks on it.

The lawnmower has become a favorite.

Almost got a smile.

A Creative Day

Tucker has become very interested in
play-doh.  He is sharing some of his
expertise with Beckett.
It is time to bring out the legos
and let B try his skills.
Did you say I could color?

Beckett is using his skills
to create a masterpiece.
So what do you think?  Should
he use markers or colors?

First Day of School 2016

Michelle is on the road traveling this year
for the first day of school and was worried that
dad might have trouble getting them started.
Looks like there was nothing to worry about.

Off to the Park

Today is the first day of school for the brothers
so it is fitting that Tucker gets to enjoy something
different today.
It was off to the park...

He is eager to see what this is all about...

Ok, he is the captain of the ship...
The dinosaurs are everywhere...
Swinging was pretty fun.  It was pretty
hot yet today so the venture didn't last
too long but cooler weather is coming.
A promise of another day is on the schedule.

Last Free Day Before School Begins

Today was a special treat.  Jackson and Weston visited
before school begins tomorrow.  We built lego houses,
ate cinnamon donuts, played dragon wars on the ipad,
made volcanos and underground houses with play-doh,
read books and just enjoyed being together.
Tucker joined right in the action.

It is always amazing to see what they can come up with.
Who would have thought there were so many
uses for noodles.

Sitting on the alphabet train while reading
is one of Tucker's new things.

He has also discovered the closet and
all the heavy duty equipment.
Thanks for a GREAT day boys.
Hope school is fun this year!

Sunday Morning at the Lake

Austin and Mikayla had an overnight at papa
and grandma's.  Sunday morning we ventured
down to the lake for an adventure.

A wooly worm was our first find...

Austin thought it would make
good fish bait but he let it go...

Milayla did a little swimming while...

Austin caught fish.  He pulled two
out first thing we got there.
The rest of the day was spent out on the
water and with the rest of the family.
Another great weekend full of memories!
