A Climbing Adventure

I had told Austin about all the fun Jack had at Paradise Park the weekend before and he was anxious to see what it was all about. The first thing he wanted to do was climb the Spidey web...
Then climbing seemed to take over him...he was climbing anything and everything there was...
He made it to the top of the rope ball several times and was quite proud of himself...
Of course, little Missy was not to be left out.

Paradise Park With Austin

Austin spent a lot of time at the fishing area. He went back several times...

The ball area was another favorite...he finally went down the long dark green tunnel. He didn't want to try it at first because it was dark, but once he found out he could do it, well it was just pretty cool!
Quite a good job on the face...
Water is always a hit.

Paradise Park With Mikayla

Mikayla's adventure consisted of many things.....the water playroom...
She went back several times to paint her face....
The pink tunnel was a hit...
Noise, of course...
and down the slide.
After nearly 3 hours of play it was time to call it a day so off to McDonald's for a drink we went. All that play makes you very thirsty. Then home for what I hope was a good nap time for mom and dad. Hope you had as much fun as I did.

Future Computer Guru's

Sunday morning Jack wanted to watch trains on the computer and Weston was not to be left out...
Weston looks like he is having a good time.

Can you say CHEESE?

Park Fun

After lunch and nap time we headed to the park. Weston is having fun on the slide...
Jack and Weston spin the wheels and pretend to talk in a microphone....

A squirrel with a hugh walnut ran past us so we followed him to the tree to get a closer look...

The tunnel is a favorite...

Peek-a-boo in fun too!

Paradise Park Visit

Danielle and Aaron went to Columbia for the Mizzou game on Saturday and Jack, Weston and grandma headed off to Paradise Park. You always start with the ball pit...
Next we went to Hy-Vee then onto the kitchen where Jack made us Pizza....

Weston helped with the drinks and served.

Then onto the playroom....
while Jack used his skills to climb the nutrition wall.

Paradise Park

The weather was almost perfect so we spent some time outside working on our climbing skills and digging in the sand.
Jack is filling his truck up with leaves and sand...

While Weston is taking his for a ride.

Weston didn't quite make it all the way up this wall, but he sure tried.

This was also a bit difficult for Weston but...

Jack made it all the way to the top.

Virginia's Birthday

Tim made grandma a pineapple upside cake for her birthday.
After we sang to her Tim cut the cake. Austin and Mikayla enjoyed most of the cherries.

Mikayla is keeping an eye on grandma. She is quite the little mother.

Family Picture

Celebrating with grandma Virginia on her birthday.
Sunday October 16, 2011 Austin 4, Grandma 87 and Mikayla 2 1/2

Austin picked a rose off the bush outside grandma's door for her and Mikayla. Pretty cute!

Papa Tim Time

Austin had a lot of questions for Papa Tim.
Not sure what they are discussing but he is taking it all in.

Here they are playing with the phones. I am not sure which is the bigger kid. They had Virginia laughing so much she was in tears. Was good to see her so happy.

Did Anyone Say TRACTORS!

They have been working to replace the curbs in our subdivision and of course that means a lot of tractors. This one was barked in our cul-de-sac. Weston calls them dig digs.

I am sure he telling Mikayla all about it.
Oh the joys of being able to stand in the tractors digger...

and sit. This is a good day for a boy!

Celebrating Aaron's Birthhday

We went to a Greek restaurant for Aaron's birthday. I unfortunately took only a couple of pictures there. Adam and Austin are trying to decide on their order.

Weston, however, was in charge of pictures for their side of the family and they have some great ones on their blog of the experience.
Back to grandma and papa's for cake. Candles are lit. Is everyone READY?

BLOW!!!! A good time was had by all.

Barrett James Randall Miller Arrives

On September 28 Little "Bear" (this is Todd's new nickname for him) arrived. I think he looks a lot like daddy Tyler.
Proud big sister Brailee holds him for the first time.

Proud Grandpa Jim and cousin Paisleigh look on.

Grandma Mindy looks like she is ready for the task of another one.
