Halloween House

Grandma was putting this Halloween House together and
Weston asked if he could help.  So after school he rushed
in to put on the finishing touches.  Pretty awesome job.
Thanks for your help Weston!

Paradise Park Birthday Party for Austin

It is time for Austin to celebrate his 7th birthday.
This is the first time he has asked his school and soccer
friends.  He is sooooooooooo excited!!

Cousins Sharing Time

 

Austin was a little under the weather today so
he came to grandma's for a couple hours until dad's
meeting was over.  He and Beckett were bonding.
 

Austin has always wanted someone to wrestle with.

Austin is showing him how to use the ladder game.

They saw a butterfly and were anxious to see if
they could catch it.

A Little Boy and His Way of Doing His Thing

Beckett pulled all the stuffed animals out of the chair
and made himself at home.  King of his KINGDOM!

First Day of Fall at the Park

 

The first day of Fall 2014 was an awesome day.
Beckett and I ventured to the park for some fun.
Hedge balls have always been a favorite...

Mom & Dad are on Vacation

Mom and dad took a few days to get away this week.
Grandma stayed with the kids Thursday night and here



Friday evening we ate dinner at the
buffet at the Ameristar.  As you can see
crab legs are one of Austin's main meals.

Mikayla enjoyed the meal also.

Saturday was filled with soccer games.
First was Weston's game...

Austin said he had "So much fun playing with Jack"

While at Jack's game Beckett was getting the best of Weston...
Then it was onto Austin's game in Belton.
Saturday evening they spent the night with Carson,
Connor and Bailey.

Sunday afternoon we spent at the park...

The zip line is a favorite...



But there is nothing like digging and throwing
rocks...

Finding that special rock is very important...

Pretty girl...

Spending quality time together...

What a pair...

They really enjoyed playing catch...

After dinner on Sunday, it was back to their house
for some outside time...

and basketball skills.  They were in bed by 8:30 and up and to
day care by 7:30 the next morning.
Mom and dad will be home tonight...

Celebrating Austin's 7th Birthday

For Austin's birthday he wanted seafood and mom had a plan
to make him all the seafood he could possibly want.
All the men gathered in the basement to cook over papa's beer making pot while
the women prepared the fixins in the kitchen.
Michelle said it was the quietest meal she can remember.
Everyone was too busy eating.

Papa Carl's 91st Birthday



Beckett went with us to Papa Carl's house today to
help him celebrate his 91st birthday.
He is so proud of all of his great-grandkids.



Later in the day papa and Beckett played with baskets
on their heads.



Not sure which one was having more fun.
