Christmas 2013

Here it is December 25 Christmas and everyone is ready for
food and festivity.
Mikayla is showing Papa Carl what a good job she can
do on her Monster High coloring purse.
Time to eat.

I hope I have included everyone in one picture or another.
If only Beckett could have joined this picture it would be even more awesome.
He couldn't get the hat, sitting still, looking at the tree action all at one time
Next year he'll be ready.
I wonder why is going to be under the tree for me?
Austin wanted a computer...
Jack, a Kindle...
Weston, a Kindle...
Beckett, well he was just into the excitement...

And Mikayla, a Kindle...
And Monster High dolls!
We hope you had a good Christmas and will have
a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Ready for Christmas

Austin and Mikayla spent Christmas Eve with us.  Mom and dad had to work
and pre-school was closed so we enjoyed a day of merriment.
Even though they have their moments, they still love each other.
Looking festive and ready to go to church with the
other Reed family.
I think she looks like an angel!

Beckett Playing With Papa

Papa likes to take videos of Beckett when he is performing.
He was in a very good mood today and papa took
advantage of the time to film him.
"LET ME AT HIM!"
"I can almost reach the camera!"
Well, maybe next time.

Baptism Day for Beckett

Sunday December 15, 2013 Beckett was baptized at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  Here is how the eventful day went...
After church he had a man to man discussion with his cousin Reid...
Checked out the priest that was going to perform the ceremony...
This is the water, oil, bib and candle that would be used for the event...
Checking out the water pond…
He was ready to jump in..
Weston and Mikayla are waiting patiently...

Dad are you sure we want to do this?...
Ok, everyone is paying attention, let's get this done...
First comes the water...
Then the oil...
He did GOOD.  Everyone is smiling.
Mika was otherwise entertained..
The family with the priest...
The family with the Godfather Tim and Godmother Amanda...
The whole family…
Grandpa Sweeney, Mike, Amber, Mika and Curt were there also but somebody had
to take the picture.
Then it was onto Beckett's house for a fabulous Bar-B-Que
lunch and Cookie desert.
He received a monogrammed knife from Aunt Mandy…
(to go in his BIG BOY drawer)
Several cards and presents from others…
Mom had to open them for the worn out little man.

Curt, Tim, and Megan look on.
Grandpa Sweeney joined us for the celebration.
Grandma Annabelle could not be with us but
Grandpa will fill her in on the happy day!

Weston's BIG Reindeer Performance

Weston is on his way into the Summit Woods Baptist
Church for his very FIRST performance on stage!

The smile says it all.  "He IS READY to perform"
He greeted all his friend as he saw them come in.
Once again, pretty proud to be there!
Beckett was anxiously awaiting his performance.
It is FINALLY time.
Reindeer antlers, reindeer costume and friends by his side.
The song called for various movements…
nodding the head...
Working the hoofs…
Note: they all had black gloves for hoofs.
Turning in circles...
Still in the circle...
Then it was the big ending of their class!
Good job Weston!
One final song with the whole school and a program goes
down in history.
This was a day all about WESTON!
