Weston's First Soccer Experience

Today was Weston's first soccer practice.
At first, he hung onto dad's leg (which is so unlike him)
but after the first station he joined in and had fun.
At the fourth station, both he and Miki Hines seemed to loose
interest.  They just went their own way kicking their ball.
Good first session Weston!

A Day With Grandma and Papa

On Monday we kept Austin and Mikayla due to Michelle's change in schedule.  When they pulled up our driveway was covered in earth worms so after mom left we were on a mission to capture as many of them as we could.
Mikayla decided to let hers go in the flower bed.

The WORMS!

Austin is making sure his worms find their way back into the ground.

They have a new dog "Duncan" that Mikayla has taken over.
On the following Wednesday they visited again due to another schedule change .
Today we made snow out of shaving cream and corn starch.
Then we moved adding vinegar to baking soda.  This was a big hit!
There is always time for a Princess picture.

Spring Soccer - Austin

Austin is playing Spring soccer at the Belton Rec Center. In the past he and Jack played in the same town but since then they are sticking to their home turf.  We are trying to make it to as many games as we can on any given day.  Here is Austin's first game.
The first soccer game was rather cold so Austin is keeping warm on the sidelines.
Waiting for action!

The Farm

Friday was a wonderful warm day and Michelle called asking if Briley and I would like to visit Deanna Rose Farm.  Following are a few of our ventures that day.
Our first stop, the chickens.
Austin has to check out the cows.
The goats were another favorite.

Mikayla is having a girl conversation with her goat friend.
The wind chimes were so big!
As luck would have it, my battery ran down on the camera but we did
take a horse drawn hayride thru the woods that was pretty awesome also.
Thanks for inviting us along.  What a wonderful experience.
