Omaha Family Weekend

Here we are about to enter the Omaha Zoo.
It is May 30th and it is cold outside.

First we visited the dome where
Beckett gets a birds eye view from his seat on dads back.

Weston posing in the exhibit.
This was very interesting for all the kids.  There was
all kind of animals and snakes to look at.

The petting zoo was another hit.  The animals were so tame
they were all able to enjoy them.

Weston tried to keep 2 of the animals
happy at the same time.

Austin and Jackson used their grooming skills
on the goat.  Jack learned this at his horse riding lessons.

One happy little boy on the merry-go-round.
Mikayla and Adam rode with him and papa.

Danielle called these the "Three Amigos".
Austin, Jackson and Weston ride together.
We visited the Stingray exhibit where they got to
touch the stingrays in the pool.  I think this was one
of the favorites of the day.
Then it was onto the train ride.
Tucker getting some Aunt Michelle time while Weston attached
himself to Uncle Adam.

Austin used daddy as a chair.

The penguin exhibit was awesome.
Pictures not too good however.

Beckett and Mikayla check out some of the aquarium exhibits.
Afterwards, we rode the sky lift over the park, then back to the
hotel to re-group for a dinner on the town.
We all ate at the Spaghetti Works.  A lady came by and
made balloon animals for each of the kids.
Mikayla had a penguin, Weston had Spiderman, Jack had a dog,
Austin had a frog and Beckett had a fishing pole with a fish on it.
Pretty neat balloon artistry.

Sunday morning after breakfast the Reed family had fun in the pool.
Austin and Mikayla joined but I had already gone to the room so was not
able to capture that picture.
This was the first family outing since Florida almost 7 years ago when Austin and Jack
were not even a year old.
We had a GREAT time and enjoyed every minute of it.

Memorial Day Soccer Tournament

Austin played 4 games in 2 days this weekend.
They couldn't quite compete with the older teams.
But he did manage to snag the
"Most Valuable Player Award" today.

Ready for action.

Working some of his skills.

Ready to kick in from the sideline.
They didn't win this game (it rained the entire game)
but it was a pretty exciting game.
Wonder what next season will bring?

So Much Fun at the Park

Mikayla and Austin were excited to go to Lea
McKeighan Park Friday night.
We played on all the cool stuff.
Zip line was a favorite.

This proved to be a challenge for both of them.

Nothing like being on top of the world.......

Burying rocks in the sand and having a treasure hunt has always been a favorite.

Pre-School Graduation for Weston

When Weston walked down the isle
to the stage he was hiding behind
another boy so this is the only
picture I could get of him.
While he was sitting waiting for his class
to perform there was all kinds of funny faces,
squirming and general boy stuff.

Tucker is in a milk coma.
Jack taking some big brother time.

Beckett is never far away from his Tucker.

Attempting to create family memories.

Afterwards it was onto Custards for a treat and presents.
Time for memories to be made.

Baseball Night 3

Tonight was Austin's first season game.
He is smiling for me from the outfield then on
deck ready to bat.

Practice swings.
Little sis watching her big brother.
And the season has officially began.
He had several good hits.  While he was pitching
he threw his best friend out at first base.

Baseball With Weston (Slider)

Weston is playing T-Ball this year at Legacy Park.
Ready to show his skills.
It's a HIT...

On his way to first base...

LOOK OUT here he comes...
Left leg outstretched trying to reach home plate.

SLIDING...
Success.
He is quite comical to watch.

Job WELL DONE!
Mom and dad say sliding into base is his
thing this year.

Let the Games Begin

Tonight is Mikayla's first T-Ball game and she is psyched.

She is the first one up to bat and she is ready.  Moment pause for a picture.  Big Smile.

Ok.  Ready again and she swings and off she goes.

First time to run the bases for the season.
She had a GREAT first game.  Looks like a fun season ahead!
