Double BIRTHDAY at the Zoo

On Saturday we all gathered at the zoo to celebrate Weston's
5th and Beckett's 2nd birthday.  The festivities began
with trying to imitate an animal. Beckett
needed a little help from dad.

Weston was all about performing.
All the kids took turns and did quite well.
 

Then she brought out a small boa constrictor.
She gave a lot of information about it and then
let them touch it.
Snuck in some learning and they didn't even know it.

 

 

Then they did the same thing with this little creature.
He is a hedge hog and he was really interesting.

Party time.  Cupcakes with animals on the top.
Quite impressive for all.

 

 

Of course there were presents for all.

It doesn't get much better than this.
Fun, friends and presents.

Beckett and Mika were having a conversation about his gift.
Then everyone was released to visit the zoo.
Papa and grandma didn't stay but I am sure all had a great time!

Saturday Soccer

It's that time of year again.  Jack's first game.

Beckett's job was carrying the apple sack.

Working on his skills.

Now onto Weston's game.  Papa in hand.
It doesn't get much better than this.

3 Handsome Young Men

 

Today 3 boys came to visit papa and grandma.  Grandma Janice took Jack and Weston to the movies while Beckett napped.  Then it was outside time for some fresh air.  Papa was ready to wrestle later on.  Guess he is feeling better.

First Signs of Spring SOCCER!

 

 

Austin's first soccer game was Saturday at Belton.  They boys looked
like they turned a page from last year by screaming past their opponent
with no problem.  Today we are in Blue Springs.  Austin played goalie
the whole game.  Caught a good action shot.  They rolled past this
team as well.  Look forward to more action!

A birthday party for 6 year old Mikayla was in order
Saturday at Paradise Park.

Everyone sang Happy Birthday and she ran to
grandma for a hug.  Doesn't crave the sportlight.

We didn't stay for this.  Papa doesn't like the noise.

Welcome Party for Baby Boy Reed # 4

Sunday we enjoyed a luncheon at Aaron and Danielle's house
to welcome the newest member of the Reed family.

 

Beckett and Papa are all about the good food.

Mikayla stayed with Beckett until he fell asleep.

She is soooooo proud.  Loves her babies.

Not sure Beckett is as willing to love her back.
Not sure why I didn't get more pictures because there
was a lot of good memories.
Just happy to be a part of such a wonderful family!
