Lego College for Kids

Today was Jackson's first day at Lego Camp.
He was paired with Rollins to build.  He
is a year younger and will be a first grader whereas
Jackson will be in second.  Will be
interesting to see what they come up with.

 

He is very intent on making sure it is just right.

Pool Time

Danielle's sister Amanda got married last night and
grandma picked up the 3 oldest boys to
boysit till mom and dad got home the next day.
The next morning it was pool time.
One happy little boy!

Grandma Day

Thursday night when the boys stopped by
Weston asked "Can I have a grandma day tomorrow?"
It is only 5 weeks until he starts kindergarten and with
everything else going on we decided it was time.
SO HERE HE IS.  Do you think he looks happy?

 

Of course, little Beckett comes with the package.

 

Everything Weston did or said Beckett did the same thing.
It was like an echo.

Beckett fell asleep in the chair while Tucker and Weston chill.

They Have a NEW BOAT!!

Adam and Michelle have been wanting a boat for some time.
While on vacation this week they made the great leap and
here is the one they picked out.

Jackson and Kayla Time

Jackson is spending some time with papa and grandma this
summer.  Mikayla dropped by this afternoon while mom
is at work.

has her way.  Strong ideas sometimes don't
make for the best fun.

Miss Harper Visits

Today we got to meet our niece Harper Emma Phillips.
She is visiting from Beijing, China.  She is 5 1/2 months old.
Dad (Matt) teaches English and mom (Kelly) is a librarian in China.

We visited in the afternoon and then Aaron, Danielle, Jackson,
Weston, Beckett, Adam, Michelle, Austin and Mikayla stopped
by in the evening to meet them.
 

Tucker at 3 Months

This is Tucker's first day at grandma and papa's.
He is exactly 3 months old today.

Not sure he is a fan of the swing yet.
Maybe next week.

Let the papa and Tucker bonding time begin.

Jack is with us this week.  He is all about sending selfies to
mom and dad when they ask how things are going.
GOOD TIMES AHEAD!

4th of July at the Lake



This 4th of July the lake water was up so high
we couldn't put the boat in.  The ramp was completely
underwater.

Looks like we can still skip rocks.
 

Time for daytime fireworks and Mikayla
(under daddy's supervision) gets to light some.

Bike riding is still a favorite activity.
Not as much traffic as there is at home.

 

Braiding momma's hair was such fun.
Not sure momma thought so though.

 
 

The Frisbee got a work out and then it was time
for nighttime fireworks. 
What a spectacular display.
