Austin's First Wrestling Tournament

 

 

 Today we traveled to Belton to watch Austin in his first wrestling tournament.  It was a whole lot of craziness.  We sat in the bleachers for hours waiting for his first match.  About 2 1/2 hours later he is on the mat.  His opponent is a head taller.  He made it thru the first round then disappointment was in the air as he lost his first go around.  Never fear there will be another match later today.  We didn't stay since papa's knees were confined in the bleaches.  GOOD LUCK in your wrestling quests little man.  We think  you are SPECIAL no matter what comes!

Of course, little Missy was there to cheer on her brother!

Celebrating Adam's Birthday

Saturday night we met at the bowling alley to
celebrate Adam's birthday.  Everyone is
eager to get started.

 

Papa and Beckett were sidelined so they tried to
make the best of it.

Pizza and beer kept the boys going.

It wouldn't be a celebration without CAKE!

The icing is always the best when you are a kid.

He got his ball and was ready to try again. 



Then it was back to grandma's house for a little
together time.  The boys had just got new
bears and were excited to show them off.
Truman and Batbear are the new additions.
