Over the last several weeks we have been watching Lee's Summit's finest crew dig up our street, lay a drain pipe, and bit by bit try to get the road back in shape. Jack likes to watch but normally this only amounts to about 5 minutes or so when mom or dad are dropping off Weston. It is pretty awesome to see them working right out the front door.
They have regular trucks to supervise and carry the workers...
a backhoe and a roller to smooth the surface...
and of course a dump truck to take away the dirt and lay asphalt.
One thing Weston does when the trucks or diggers back up is make the beep-beep sound they make. He doesn't miss a thing.
