Christmas 2011

The day started with food, of course.  After checking out the old toys  and having dinner it was time to  start looking at the presents under the tree.  There were a lot of great memories here so will show some pictures and let you imagine the madness.

Time to get the party started.

Princess Ariel doll from Uncle Aaron and Aunt Danielle.

John Deere of course.
Barbie from Papa Carl.
Good to see Grandpa Carl so happy.
Mikayla with her stash.

Looks like Weston made a haul too.

Mikayla looked so pretty with her hair curled and fluffy.
What do you think it is mom?
Looks like Austin is pretty excited.

Jack has been wanting this book for a long time.
Can always use another blankie.

Austin was too excited about his Wii game.

Jack is working his way thru the presents.
More hugs from Austin.

Papa Carl gave Austin a model airplane like the one he flew in the war.  He is pretty proud of it.
Chutes and ladders is always a hit for a 4 year old.

Weston is all about his construction vehicles.

One little girl looks like she has had enough.

Papa Carl is opening his gifts.
Weston got a plane from papa Carl also.
Danielle suggested that we make superhero capes for the kids.  Here are a few pictures of the unveiling.

The thought was that the kids could release a helium balloon for Uncle Ron for Christmas.  Try as we may we could not talk them into releasing the balloons.  Everyone wanted to play with them.  Maybe we should have tried some plain ones.  Will try again later.

Aunt Tootsie brought the Princess chair for Mikayla.  When she sits in it it play princess music.  She is quite proud of it.

This is the Wii game that Austin was so proud of.

Aaron and Danielle got me a Missouri Tigers sweatshirt and tee.  Pretty awesome.  Thank You!

Weston waited until Mikayla was done checking out the princess chair then he got his turn.

Uncle Tom and Mikayla spent quality time together.

At the end of the day with pajamas on Jack wanted to put on a show for everybody.  There was dancing and singing.  A good time was had by all.   Thanks everybody for a very Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
