Sunday Afternoon With Grandma

Adam and Michelle are working hard on house projects and their little helpers prove to be big helpers so Austin called grandma and asked if she needed some company. Well, I can never say no and off on our adventures we go.

We headed to Hartman Park where they found a big black bug.  It was very interesting to them.  They both examined it and decided it needed to be left alone so it could return to it's family.

This is the bug.

They put it back in the grass so no one would bother it and it could return to it's home.

Then we went to the creek area.  They found sticks, 

checked out the water...

Austin pulled handfuls of wild onion grass...

while Kayla found a sticker bush.

Then it was back to the house where Austin tried his hand at the potholder project.

He is really quite good at it.
